An exciting opportunity has arisen within Halton’s Fostering Service as we are seeking to recruit an experienced Team Manager to our family.

Our Team:

Our Service has a commitment to working closely with our foster carers and with Children’s social work Teams across the division, ensuring that our cared for children experience stability and achieve permanence in a timely way and that all cared for children are well supported to maximise their life chances.

We have a stable and experienced Senior Leadership Team, who lead from the front. The Head of Service, Service Manager and Team Manager are well established staff members in Halton, who are supportive and nurturing.

Hours: 37hrs 

Your Contributions:

As a Team Manager, you will be expected to manage a small team of social workers and support workers in the recruitment, assessment, support, supervision, and training of foster carers who work within the Fostering Service.  The role will also consist of monitoring performance and work within the Council’s policies and procedures, within appropriate regulatory and legal frameworks.

For this role, it is essential that you have knowledge and understanding of the Fostering regulations and standards.

Market Supplement:
HBC10 - £8,420
