Our Team:
The adult safeguarding team is a small friendly team made up of social workers, safeguarding support officer and admin staff. The main duty of the team is to take receipt of the safeguarding referrals submitted to the local authority, assessing risk, implementing interim safeguarding measures before making a decision around next steps. In addition to this, social workers within the team hold a small case of complex s42 enquiries. We work closely with partner agencies and safeguarding leads. We represent adult social care and several case conferences such as MARAC and MAPPA.
Hours: 37 per week
Your Contributions:
To work as part of a small and supportive team
To triage safeguarding concerns made to the local authority in a timely manner
To identify and assess risk and agree on interim safeguarding measures
To complete s42 enquiries
To work in partnership with various agencies and safeguarding leads
