Our Team:

The Highway Development Team ensure the quality, safety and sustainability of the Highways and Transport infrastructure serving new developments.

As Senior Engineer Flood Risk Management, you will undertake the Council’s responsibilities as Lead Local Flood Authority, including the assessment and approval of developer’s detailed design proposals for new sustainable drainage infrastructure, as well as other statutory duties to manage flood risk under the Flood and Water Management Act, working in partnership with other Risk Management Authorities.

Hours: 37 per week

Your Contributions:

You will have experience of successful delivery of flood risk management, and working with developers/contractors and possess a BTEC HNC/HND in an appropriate engineering discipline or equivalent.
