Our Team:

Halton Family Hubs are seeking a permanent Senior Administration Officer to join our busy, front‑line service welcoming local families into the Family Hubs across Halton. This is a key leadership role within the administrative team, providing day‑to‑day oversight, guidance, and coordination for Family Hub Administrators based at our sites in Widnes and Runcorn.

You will contribute to the smooth and effective running of the Hubs by ensuring high‑quality administrative support, consistent processes and a welcoming environment for families accessing the Family Hub services. Working closely with Hub Managers and the wider leadership team, you will help maintain service standards, support staff development and ensure that administrative functions operate efficiently across all locations.

Your Contributions:

  • Operational supervision and monitoring of the administration team.
  • Attend Family Hub leadership meetings, accurately record minutes, and ensure actions are captured and distributed promptly.
  • Provide flexible support to cover reception duties when required.
  • To provide advice, guidance and information to managers on administration matters.
  • The Senior Administrator Officer should hold Maths and English GCSE qualifications and have experience in using IT systems including all Microsoft packages. Ideally you will have experience managing staff or supporting workers in a supervisory capacity.

Hours: 37 per week
