Our Team:

Halton’s Parenting Team is integral to the delivery of Halton’s Family Hub Programme and the Reducing Parental Conflict agenda.   Working within a multi-agency arena the Parenting Team are instrumental in ensuring high quality and effective interventions are available and accessible for Halton’s parents/families.  Through a “Think Family” approach the Parenting Team advocate inclusivity by enabling the voices and daily lived experiences to be heard and understood.   

The team work across the Borough using Halton Brook, Runcorn, as a base and thereafter Family Hubs and other various community venues.  The team integrate with various 0-19yrs teams and up to 25yrs for our SEND population such as health, social care and schools.  The team are highly valued across internal Children’s Services teams and recognised as a deliverer of “best practice” across local regional networks.

Your Contributions:

•  To co-ordinate and organise the delivery of Early Help Parenting services across Halton, working in a multi-disciplinary arena.

•  To be the lead for Halton’s Reducing Parental Conflict agenda, through dissemination of information, delivery of multi-agency training and preparation of returns for Reducing Parental Conflict DWP bids.

•  To manage a cohort of staff in the Early Help Parenting service.

•  To assist in leading Halton’s Family Hub Parenting Support workstream and carry out actions as identified.

•  To prepare qualitive and quantitative reports for Senior Management in relation to Halton’s Parenting delivery programme.
