Job Introduction

Independent Travel Trainer - 37 Hours per week

Our Team:

The Transport Co-ordination department, within Logistics Division, provides key essential services (most of which are statutory) for children and adults to educational establishments and various other destinations both in and out of the borough. The department as a whole provides a vast range of public and passenger transport services to the community, many of which the post holder will become involved in. The role of Independent Travel Trainer is integral to ensuring high quality and reliable services are provided to the public.

Your Contributions:

The successful candidate will be extremely well organised, will have the ability to remain calm in challenging and unpredictable situations and will be comfortable and competent with working with children and young people with a range of specialist conditions and additional needs. Candidates should have a basic knowledge of relevant transport legislation in order to deliver services as required as well as experience of conducting risk assessments.
