Our Team:
Based within the Public Health directorate, this role will design, develop and deliver training focused on health improvement and physical activity.
Hours: 37 per week
This is a fixed term contract role, funded until 31/03/2028.
Your Contributions:
- This will be a multifunctional role which will manage/support numerous projects and campaigns at a local/ regional and occasional national basis to support the awareness of key physical activity priorities.
- This role will be expected to support Health Improvement Specialists and Managers with pilot projects and studies to develop and improve services.
- Work closely in partnership with primary care, social care, other health services and voluntary to effectively develop and deliver physical activity interventions.
- Develop and maintain information and support structures by collating and using evidence, in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the service.
- Develop and deliver physical activity training and education to identified target groups, ensuring that a consistent approach is taken.
- Ensure that necessary risk assessment and management plans are in place and authorised by their line manager.
