Our Team:
The HR Operations Division plays a key role in supporting managers and employees across the Council by providing professional advice, guidance, and operational support on all people related matters. We work collaboratively with services to help them deliver their priorities, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and consistently. The team is fast paced, supportive, and focused on delivering a high quality service that reflects the Council’s values..
Hours: 37 per week
Your Contributions:
This apprenticeship opportunity provides a fantastic opportunity to work across a variety of teams across our HR Operations Division, including HR Business Partnering, Recruitment & Resourcing, Pay and Pensions, and Health and Safety
- Attendance at Riverside College (Widnes) every other Friday from 9am - 2pm is required all year round.
- Respond to basic HR enquiries via incoming and outgoing mail to ensure an effective, customer focused service.
- Provide project support across the HR division with responsibilities including undertaking work associated with FOIs and SARs
- Oversee the wider Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) activity including renewals by reviewing data and reports and providing accurate information to managers
- At least 4 x GCSE’s grade 4, or above, including Mathematics and English Language.
